chick flicks.

i love them but can't stand the humiliation factor ubiquitous to the
genre. currently in bed recovering from a bad cold and having to pause
every few minutes of 'the confessions of a shopaholic.'

makes me wonder about other parts of my life and why i find
humiliation so unbearable.

ok, i go to continue my next few minutes of deliberately interrupted
viewing and will hopefully rally enough to get out of bed and do
something with my day.

Not my favorite either. I like the cheesy melodrama, and all that, but the scenes of embarrassment for comedy just aren't funny to me.

Nothing world-altering to add. Just that.

and yet you announced the viewing of said film on both blog and facebook... it can't be JUST humiliation, unless humiliation is what you're after!

at katie: hmmmm....perhaps i've not explained myself. it's not humiliating to watch them (except perhaps the twilight movies which i have successfully boycotted so far), but more the empathy pains that i have watching the main characters go through all these humiliating circumstances. poor adorable souls. :)

and yes, therapist and mom, i have consumed lots of liquids. and vitamin c. :}
