this is a neighboring building and despite my aversion to the salmony pink color it's painted, it offers a nice view of fall taking over the world. it's a mystery to me why fall seems to happen first on the upper floors. i thought time moved slower, not faster, the farther up you go.

that's a long way up for the water to travel, and a cutting of the water supply is what makes leaves turn seasonally. Maybe some relation?
