10 days till my birthday and uncharacteristically everything seems to be arriving early.
aside from the boots purchased for me last week this is the first to arrive.
tangent: i really should post a picture of the boots because they are lightyears beyond the realm of fantastic. a gift from the boot gods long after i gave up on ever finding a sexy pair of flat boots--as in nothing remotely resembling a riding boot)
i'm going to be good and wait until the 26th to cut open the oh-so-temping rainbow-colored tape announcing something from the polaroid family.

I think it's the first time I've ever gotten anything done before the deadline in my life. Assuredly the first time a Mikesell has ever been early to another Mikesell's anything. The truth is I thought "it" was shipping from Europe so factored in the time for a harrowing journey across pirate-infested waters. Apparently they have an outlet in NYC.

well, do you see the yellow tag on the box? it's a sticker saying it's from germany, so it did, in fact, come from europe. i guess they were super speedy on the timing. and squirrel can attest to the fact that it's still sitting here unopened.
the one mystery is that it says "camera/film" when it lists the contents which rather conflicts with the discussion of the hypothetical contents of a box i might receive. :)
