loo - bathroom
rubbish - trash
nick - steal, take, grab
oz - australia
brekky - breakfast
avo - afternoon
cheers - thanks
ta - thanks
toodle pip - byebye (still not convinced i can pull this off)

and some others i can't think of currently.

and now:

twig - i understand

marcus: ah, you told me about that, didn't twig it was that one!
me: twig?
marcus: ha! twig... guess you don't use that then! apparently from the gaelic 'tuigim'- "I understand"...
